Intradermal Needles

These are small needles implanted in the skin for extended periods of time. The needles are retained for 1-3 days. This should be shortened in warm weather and can be extended in cooler weather. Long lasting therapeutic effect can be gained using this method over standard acupuncture techniques. It is especially useful for motion sickness.

Cautions & Warnings

Due to the risk of infection it is important to keep the insertion site clean and to remove the needles promptly once the time period of the treatment has elapsed.
