Tapping
A small hammer is made using 5 to 7 needles (called a Plum-Blossom Needle). This hammer is used to tap the skin to move energy and quicken the blood in the affected area or on the pathway of the affected channel. This treatment is especially suitable for those with fear of needle insertion. The hammers are single use factory sterilized to minimize the risk of infection.
Cautions & Warnings
Tapping may cause bleeding. This may be intentional based on the goal of the treatment. This will cause no harm beyond the small risk of infection if the area is not cleaned and covered.
